This Privacy Policy explains how Zeleno handles information when you use the Zeleno mobile application. Zeleno is a plant care tracking app developed by fadme.dev.

Zeleno stores your plant care data locally on your device so the app can work as a personal care journal. Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage where supported by the operating system. Notification preferences and synchronization state may also be stored on your device.

You can use Zeleno locally on your device. If you sign in, Zeleno uploads a full snapshot of your plant care data and notification preferences to the Zeleno server so the data can be synchronized across your devices. The server stores this data under your account.
Zeleno uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver reminder notifications. For this purpose, the app and server may process your Firebase Cloud Messaging token, device identifier, time zone, notification preferences, reminder data, and delivery records. You can control notification permission through your device settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising, and Zeleno does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
We may share or process information only in these limited cases:

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. In production, communication with the Zeleno server is performed over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage where supported. Server-side data is protected by access controls and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, remove the app, or clear app data through the operating system. If you use cloud sync, account data is retained on the Zeleno server for as long as needed to provide synchronization and reminder delivery, unless you request deletion. Authentication tokens and device registration data are retained as needed to keep your session active, deliver notifications, prevent misuse, and maintain the service.

When you request deletion of cloud account data, we may need to verify that the request comes from the email address associated with the account.
Zeleno is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Zeleno, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and make the updated policy available through the app or the policy page.
